An Indiana attorney since 2002, attorney Haran was admitted to the rolls of attorneys in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Prior to practicing in the United States, attorney Haran practiced law before the High Court of Madras, Chennai, India, beginning in 1987, and was licensed by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, India, after earning a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (Sagar University), Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, India.
