All about me:
An Immigrant myself, I became an Indiana attorney in 2002 when I was taken on the rolls of attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana. My practice focuses on Immigration and Naturalization Law. I work with families, employers and businesses addressing their immigration needs to obtain lawful entry to the United States, also known as Visa and residence for their foreign national family member, employee or business partners.
Before graduating in law from William Bowen School of Law, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Arkansas I was a practicing lawyer in India. I grew up in the State of Madhya Pradesh nicknamed as M.P. and received my first law degree "Bachelor of Laws" (LL.B.) from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (Saugar University) at Seoni, Madhya Pradesh and moved to Chennai and practiced law at the High Court of Madras.
As a member of Carmel Chamber of Commerce I enjoy meeting people at the Chamber events. I speak Hindi, Tamil or English fluently and speak to my clients in these languanges as well.
Being a national table tennis player in India while in high school and at the University I love sports and play tennis and table tennis and watch football, basketball, and cricket. You can call me a fan of Pacers and Colts!
If I had some spare time I would like to spend digging some dirt in my yard or get busy gardening or learn some words in Spanish.
Pro Bono / Community Work:
I believe that service to the poor and needy is an important obligation of the society. I provide such services when absolutely necessary. However, the demand for probono service is too high and as an independent legal practitioner I have time and resource constraints and so I select the most deserving client in dire in need of such service. Such a client may be a victim of abuse who finds himself or herself in a shelter without anyone to support or an impoverished terminally ill person facing a threat of deportation.
I think that for assimilation of immigrants in the society it is important to spread community awareness about immigration law and immigrants. I have been fortunate to find community organizations, schools and churches who shared my goal and were willing to host the forum for me to educate their patrons about immigration issues.
